VCT Masters Shanghai

Valorant fans were clearly excited for VCT Shanghai as tickets for the event have sold out just minutes after going live.

VCT Masters is Valorant esports’ marquee event, offering a sizable prize for winners and the most coveted VCT circuit points. Twelve teams have successfully advanced from the four VCT international leagues during Stage 1, representing the Americas, Pacific, EMEA, and China regions. This year’s event was set to attract thousands of viewers, with top teams such as FNATIC, Paper Rex, G2, and others in attendance

But it appears that fans were even more excited than Riot anticipated. VCT Masters Shanghai 2024 was split into two different venues to accommodate more fans during its final days. However, all tickets have been sold out for both arenas.

VCT Masters Shanghai 2024 tickets no longer for sale

VCT Masters Shanghai 2024 will run from May 23 to June 9. The event’s first leg was announced for the VCT CN arena, which will accommodate 400 attendees from May 23 to June 3. The last three playoff games and the grand final will take place at Merecedes-Benz Arena, which has a maximum capacity of 17,000 viewers.

Both are sizeable venues, but those rushing to purchase tickets at the 11th hour are returning empty-handed. VCT CN was reportedly sold out within the first few minutes of announcements. Fans claimed they couldn’t buy tickets a few minutes after they went live on April 12.

However, Merecedes-Benz Arena is VCT’s largest venue in history, and it’s packed to the brim according to the official ticket websites Damai and City Line. The websites currently show both arenas as sold out.

Those who couldn’t purchase a ticket can still watch G2 lock horns with T1 on the first game of the Swiss Stage on May 23 on Valorant’s Twitch or YouTube. Masters Shanghai is set to be an extraordinary Valorant moment in history with $1 million and VCT circuit points up for grabs.
