All Anubis callouts to help win your next CS2 match

Anubis is still relatively new to CS2, at least compared to other classic maps, so navigation can be tricky without the right callouts.

Originally released in 2020, Anubis was added to the CS2 active duty pool in 2022 with a weapon case dedicated to this Egyptian map. In 2024, almost all maps in CS2 are classics, safe for Ancient and Anubis. The latter, however, can be slightly more complicated due to its two-story structure. Despite the complex layout, Anubis has become a player favorite.

New players may have difficulty winning games on this map, but once players learn basic Anubis callouts, it starts to feel less like a labyrinth.

All must-know Anubis callouts in CS2

Anubis is a complex map with two bomb sites divided by two mid areas. One mid is situated on the first floor while the other connects both sites with a pool at the bottom. Here’s a map of all callouts on Anubis updated for 2024.

The top mid is slightly easier to take control of for the Ts since they only need to clear one angle of the double doors. Bottom mid, on the other hand, can leave attackers exposed to enemies in connector and A main. However, if they know a smoke or two, T players should be able to stroll into the canal safely.

However, the boat isn’t a highly recommended route to enter A site as it puts the team at an awkward angle and right into an enemy’s crosshair when they break into the site. Getting access to the walkway is one of the best ways to gain control of A site.

The bomb sites also have highly contrasting layouts. Whereas Anubis A site is more spacious and has sneaky choke points complicating callouts, B can be a tough nut to crack due to its unique design, which allows CTs to guard it from safe nooks and corners. It’s situated around a massive obelisk, which provides ample cover to CTs hiding right in the heart of the site.

Anubis’ layout is such that both CTs and Ts have a fair shot at winning the game, but Ts may find it easier to strategically break into a site due to the large size of the map. However, learning Anubis callouts is the ultimate key to winning a game on this location, as this map calls for advanced communication and coordination.
