Dota 2 pros Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barqawi and Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf have both been honored at the Jordanian Esports Awards 2025. The pair received awards alongside the rest of the Jordanian national Dota 2 team, receiving their award from Prince Omar bin Faisal, the president of the Jordanian Federation for Esports.

Images of the ceremony were reportedly posted on both ATF and Miracle-’s social media late on Jan. 11, and an accompanying press release, from the Jordanian Olympic Committee, was published on Jan. 10.

ATF and Miracle- honored at Jordanian Esports Awards 2025

The Jordanian Esports Awards 2025 were hosted on Jan. 10, 2025, celebrating outstanding esports accomplishments in esports by citizens of Jordan. Miracle- and ATF were seemingly honored for their participation in IESF West Asia 2025, an event in which they were substitutes, and played no games.

However, in his speech Prince Omar bin Faisal explained that the results achieved by the players and national team in various events were the result of a year of challenges and the result of advanced technical performances by individuals.

While the Jordanian national Dota 2 team may not have had much success in 2025, perhaps its most famous active member, ATF, definitely did. As part of Team Falcons, ATF won TI14 in September 2025.

Miracle- is also one of the most famous and successful Jordanian Dota 2 players of all time. A TI-winner with Team Liquid, and seeing success with Team Nigma, Miracle- is still seen as one of the most technically impressive carry players of all time.

However, the appearance at the Jordanian Esports Awards 2025 is just one of a handful of public appearances Miracle- has made recently. The carry player has been battling health issues for some time, which has side-lined him from professional play. His appearance at the award show was seen as a positive sign by fans and observers, with supporters sharing well-wishes on his social media.
