Minh “Gooseman” Le, the creator of the original Counter-Strike game, announced Metastack, a brand new CS2 educational tool, on September 23. Metastack’s goal is to provide a go-to place for CS2 players to get better in the game, with all the content concentrated in one platform.

Metastack’s creators built it specifically for CS2. It allows players to “efficiently create and organize their own game knowledge, and to quickly discover and import new tactical content from a massive content library, all within a single unified platform.”

And, casual CS2 players can also use Metastack. The platform has a community tab, in which players can share their tactics with other members, compete for Metapoints on the leaderboard, and earn rewards.

Even though the team behind Metastack announced it today, they had been running it secretly for over four months. Multiple teams have approved it, including some of the best CS2 teams in the world, Metastack said.

Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski (Falcons’ IGL), Andrey “tN1R” Tatarinovich (Spirit’s rifler), Sidnei “sidde” Macedo (FURIA head coach), and popular CS2 coach turned pundit Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović made special appearances in Metastack’s announcement video.

According to the press release, Metastack has replaced Google Drive and every other tool for all of the teams that tried it.

Gooseman serves as an advisor for Metastack, while Serbian CS2 coach Mihajlo “Feed” Petrović spearheads its development. He’s the current CEO and product designer of Metastack.

Feed left his Strategic Coach position at HEROIC in June to focus 100% on developing Metastack, along with back-end developer Milos Nikic and Senior front-end developer Sava Vidakovic.

Gooseman gave an exclusive statement to Jaxon.gg, explaining how he learned about Metastack and embarked on the project:

I met Mihajlo last year at the HLTV Awards and he told me about this incredible tool, Metastack, that he was working on. I really loved his personality and passion on the project and when he showed it to me, I was immediately impressed.

It really amazed me how much thought went into it and Mihajlo’s experience in CS2 coaching is really evident in the way Metastack is designed. I’m really excited to help him bring this tool to the Counter-Strike competitive scene.

Although Gooseman announced Metastack today, September 23, the tool will officially launch next Tuesday, September 30.
