KC and DK are two extremely different teams. Dplus KIA adopted the more calculated style of the LCK, while Karmine thrives in the non-stop aggression. KC is shakier in the laning phase, when DK struggles with holding the early leads they get. 

Individually, all ten players are currently stepping up much more than expected. Caliste “Caliste” Henry-Hennebert played fearlessly against T1, collecting not only 1v1 lane kills but even 1v2s. Karmine’s ADC still had several avoidable deaths from going too far forward, but his boldness favors KC most of the time at this tournament.

For DK though, Shin “Smash” Geum-jae was on a whole other level. Claiming individual leads of 4k to 6k gold over his lane opponent, he will be a terrifying counterpart for Caliste to go up against.

Mid lane might be the opposite story. Both mid laners were pillars for their team yesterday, but Kang “kyeahoo” Ye-hoo has shown one of the best Anivias at the tournament.

Top lane and support should favor KC. Although here again, Jean “Siwoo” Si-woo has been both the danger point for his team and the main carry depending on the game. As for the jungle, they’ve both shown similar performances, but differ in their comfortable picks.

Tomorrow might not have the highest quality of games. Both teams have a single evening after a day of exhausting matches to prepare for a matchup they didn’t expect. This might lead to an explosive result, especially considering the meta at this tournament.
