2026 MLBB AMER Championship Tour

MOONTON has unveiled the list of invited teams to the inaugural Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Championship Tour Americas (MCT AMER).

The Championship Tours are a new set of tournaments as part of MLBB’s transition into a five-region structure across SEA, EECA, Americas, EMEA, and East Asia.

Each of these five regions will get separate MCTs which is a multi-regional tournament that features squads from regional leagues and developmental tournaments. It will provide a pathway to prestigious competitions like the Mid-Season Cup (MSC).

Teams in the MCT AMER 2026

For the MCT AMER 2026, 16 teams will be competing, of which 14 are invited and two qualified through a separate qualifier. The winner of the tournament will advance to the MSC 2026’s main event, while the runners-up will make it to the Wildcard stage.

The full list of teams is as follows:

  • North
    • Alpha7 North
    • Leviatan
    • U2
    • Stamina Esports
    • LYON
    • Influence Rage Orings

The tournament will take place from April 16 to June 14, across three stages:

MOONTON hasn’t revealed the exact format for the event yet.

More about MLBB esports in the Americas

The MCT AMER essentially replaces the MPL LATAM, which ran for four seasons in 2024 and 2025 (two per year).

Most of the notable names from the MPL LATAM have been included in MCT AMER South.

The Championship Tour, however, has expanded its scope to include North America as well, a region which the developer tried to break into but pulled back from during the second half of 2025.

MOONTON used to run the North America Challenger Tournament (NACT) in the region. However, over the years, the tournament was scaled down with reduced prize pools and full online play.

It was finally sunsetted in 2025, with MOONTON saying that it will return to the region in 2026.

North American MLBB esports was also in the middle of a controversy during the Mid-Season Cup 2025. BTK, a notable name from the US, were banned from competing in the event for reportedly participating in an event of the game’s rival, Honor of Kings.

Notable BTK players such as Michael “MobaZane” Cosgun have since made a complete jump to Honor of Kings.
