MLBB Turkey Championship (MTC) Season 7 unveiled with $40,000 prize pool, MSC slots

MOONTON has unveiled Season 7 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Turkey Championship (MTC), featuring almost double the prize pool since the previous edition.

This comes as Istanbul, Turkey, gears up to play host to the M8 World Championship for the first time in January 2027.

Besides the prize pool, the MTC Season 7 has a lot on the line. The winner will qualify for the Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2026. The runners-up will earn a Wildcard stage slot.

“This season of MTC is a major step forward for gaming and esports in Türkiye. With our increased investment, we’re helping to strengthen the local ecosystem and showcase the talent competing on a global stage,” said Ajay Jilka, who heads esports for the region at MOONTON Games.

MTC Season 7 teams

A total of eight teams will be competing in the MTC Season 7, set to take place from April 11 to June 7.

The tournament has been broken into two: the regular season and the playoffs stage. The regular season will happen from April 11 to May 17, with the top six then advancing to the playoffs. The playoffs will unfold on May 23 and 24 to determine the two finalists.

Finally, the two finalists will compete in the MTC Season 7 grand finals on June 7 to crown the champion. Given the large gap between the playoffs and the grand finals, it’s likely the latter will be held on-ground in front of a live audience.

The eight teams are as follows:

• Aurora Gaming
• Beşiktaş Esports
• Bushido Wildcats
• Eternal Fire
• FUT Esports
• Misa Esports
• PCIFIC Esports
• Regnum Carya Esports

The winner will directly make it to the MSC, set to happen at the Esports World Cup 2026, from July 1 to August 1.

With Istanbul set to play host to the M8 Finals in January, it’s an important year for the country’s MLBB esports scene. In the previous edition, the M7, the country’s Aurora Gaming made it into the upper bracket semifinals in a remarkable run.

“MTC is more than a national league, it’s the starting point for Türkiye’s role on the global MLBB stage leading up to the M8. Millions of fans worldwide will be watching our flagship international tournament, and with it comes an opportunity to demonstrate how Türkiye can lead in hosting major esports events and shape the future of esports,” added Jilka.

The exact venue and schedule for the M8 World Championship haven’t been announced yet.
