Valve launches Call II Arms-ory workshop for new CS2 skins and stickers
Valve has officially rolled out the “Call II Arms-ory” workshop for Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) giving artists an opportunity to get their artwork included in the game. This update follows up on recent additions to the game’s reward system, after releasing new weapon and sticker collections from the previous Call to Arms-ory.
Alongside celebrating its latest batch of community-designed items, Valve has launched an open call to digital artists worldwide, laying down the foundation for the game’s next major seasonal weapon and sticker collections.
CS2 is calling on community artists
The developer officially confirmed the launch via Steam, stating that they have successfully deployed the latest weapon and sticker assets curated from their previous Call to Arms-ory.
“Congratulations to the artists who had their items included!” the development team shared on their official news network. With these items now available in the game’s ecosystem, Valve has turned its attention toward three highly specific creative categories for the next wave of workshop submissions.
Artists are being requested to build weapon finishes tailored to a Fairy Tales theme, alongside two distinct sticker directions: Cryptids and Pop Art.
First introduced as a modern alternative to traditional, random drop-based operations, the Armory functions essentially as a multi-tier battle pass program for cosmetics and skins.
The Armory Pass allows players to spend their Armory points on specific rewards like weapon collections, custom weapon charms, and exclusive sticker drops. Grinders can even activate up to five concurrent passes to completely maximize their yields during prolonged play sessions across Premier, Casual, and Deathmatch queues.
How to submit to the CS2 workshop?
For community designers looking to submit a customized weapon finish or sticker pack for the upcoming Fairy Tales, Cryptids, or Pop Art collections, they can do it by:
- Step 1: Boot up the official Counter-Strike 2 Workshop Tool.
- Step 2: Select the appropriate thematic submission category matching the new prompts.
- Step 3: Agree to Counter-Strike 2’s updated Supplemental Terms to authorize revenue-sharing eligibility.
