Several top CS2 teams have already secured their Major berth, but there are still high profile players and squads out there who are yet to claim their Major spot. In Europe, there around 10 to 15 teams fighting for six remaining spots, with less competition present in other regions.
The biggest names gunning for a Major spot in Europe are undoubtably Natus Vincere and FaZe Clan. It’s s shock that NAVI even finds themselves in this situation, but their last few months of play have been dire results-wise.
FaZe have been on the grind the whole year and it seems like it’s finally paying off. They are one of the teams most likely to clinch the Singapore Major qualification.
Asia and the Americas is a blood bath as always and there a couple popular teams that are dangerously close to missing the Major, namely NRG and paiN. While both teams haven’t had much success recently, they are still household names in their respective regions (NA and SA).
The one team CS2 fans from around the world are most excited to see at the Major is probably BC.Game, and they all but secured their spot in Singapore. At the time of writing they are the second best team in the Asian VRS, so it’s almost certain we will get to see Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev back where he belongs – on the biggest stage in Counter-Strike.
Here are the most notable squads that will be battling on the server in the next couple weeks for those percious VRS points:

Who’s going to miss out?

There are a couple of high-profile teams whose Major chances are most likely done and dusted. The pair that comes to mind is GamerLegion and Envy. GamerLegion has been a solid Tier 1 squad for the past few years, but their performances divebombed after Oldrich “PR” Novy left for MOUZ during the summer break.
Another key emission is Envy. The legendary organization just came back into Counter-Strike, signing the french roster we got used to watching under the 3DMAX banner. Not long ago 3DMAX was a consistent gatekeeping team right around the top 10, but they fell off in 2026.
A recent tournament victory at the Logitech G Play Connect 2026 gave the players and fans of the team some hope, but a singular positive result was not enough to take them over the line and guarantee Major qualification.
