ESL FACEIT Group makes CHEXX its betting partner

ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), one of the world’s leading esports companies and tournament organizers, has announced a betting partnership with online betting platform CHEXX. This is the first-ever time that CHEXX is partnering with an esports company, and a potential sign of a bigger investment in the space.

CHEXX will become the official betting partner for EFG’s Counter Strike 2 and Dota 2 esports events in 2026. The partners did not disclose any further terms of the deal.

Along with the new partnership, EFG and CHEXX have announced a series of experiences and activations for fans. This includes sponsored segments during broadcasts, called Go NEXXT Moments, giveaways and bonuses at in-person and digital events, which will include merchandise, collectibles and promotions, and other in-person and digital integrations. Of course, since this is a betting partnership, CHEXX and EFG will work together on promoting CHEXX’s betting platform.

CHEXX is the latest in line of betting sponsors for EFG. In 2020, ESL partnered with GG.Bet on its ESL One and IEM series of tournaments, as well as Seasons 11 and 12 of the ESL Pro League. In 2021, 1xBet came on board as the official ESL Pro Tour and ESL One partner. What makes the CHEXX partnership interesting is that it is another wider deal, as opposed to strictly game-focused or tournament-focused partnerships we’ve come to expect.

The new deal comes just days after EFG announced its first large partnership of the year with Brace for Impact, a non-profit that specializes in organizing esports tournaments for women.

Daniel Mauritz, SVP Brand Partnerships at EFG, said:

CHEXX’s ‘GO NEXXT’ philosophy aligns with our mission to push the boundaries of esports entertainment. By integrating their innovative platform into our Counter-Strike and Dota 2 circuits, we’re offering our global community a more immersive and rewarding way to engage with the world’s most elite competition.
