MOUZ vs Furia: IEM Cologne 2025 CS2 betting odds, tips
Furia looks downright scary in IEM Cologne 2025, but that may not be enough for the team to get past MOUZ.

After an underwhelming start to 2025, Furia made a pair of roster changes to bolster the team’s chances for the BLAST Austin Major. That has seemingly paid off in a big way, with the newcomers pushing the team to the playoffs of both the BLAST Austin Major and IEM Cologne. While this is all great news for Furia fans, beating MOUZ might just be a bridge too far.

MOUZ vs Furia in-depth team, match analysis
Furia may have already proven that its strong run in the BLAST Austin Major was no fluke. While no team chances their way into a top-eight spot in a Counter-Strike major, regional rival Pain Gaming showed that teams outside the upper echelon of the game can have an extremely strong run.
Despite placing top-four in Austin, Pain fizzled in the Fissure Playground 1 group stage and couldn’t clear the play-ins in Cologne. There was cause to doubt Furia too, after it suffered its own group stage elimination in Fissure Playground 1. Furia’s group stage run in Cologne showed that the team is completely credible.
EU imports Danil “molodoy” Golubenko and Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis have performed brilliantly for the team, providing massive amounts of firepower to complement Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato. Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo has been flexing his muscles as an IGL with some crafty plays and tactics. The team is firing on all cylinders, but it’s still probably not enough to get past MOUZ.
Though Furia is good, MOUZ is firmly cemented among Counter-Strike’s top three teams. Since March, only Team Spirit, Team Vitality, and Team Falcons have been able to beat MOUZ in best-of-three or best-of-five series.
Furia is likely to stick around as a high-end team for the coming months. It still hasn’t shown enough to give it the nod against MOUZ, though.

Map pool
- Furia’s been one of the strongest teams in tier-one Counter-Strike on Train this year and it’s been able to hang with the best of the best on Dust 2. It’s about 50-50 elsewhere, but does look considerably stronger with its new roster.
- MOUZ doesn’t have gaudy numbers anywhere in particular, but has a solidly winning record on most maps. The lone exception is going 10-12 on Inferno to this point in the year and losing its debut on Overpass.
- Furia was permabanning Ancient throughout the year, but that changed in Fissure Playground. MOUZ was permabanning Anubis, but the map is now gone in favor of Overpass. It’s unclear which map either of these teams is permabanning now, if any.
- MOUZ played on Overpass in IEM Cologne, losing to Team Spirit.

MOUZ vs Furia betting picks and predictions
The are right. MOUZ is way more likely to win this match than Furia. While Furia’s good and is on an upswing, this is just a rough matchup. That doesn’t mean MOUZ is going to blow them out of the water, though.

- MOUZ wins 2-0 @ 2.28 – MOUZ is the overall better team and Furia doesn’t have a map where it has a significant advantage.
- MOUZ map 1/2 winning margin 2-4 @ 3.04 – MOUZ will occasionally blow the doors off an opponent but much more often than not, teams will be able to put up a good number of rounds against them.
