Here are the current match-winner odds for PGL Wallachia Season 7:

PGL Wallachia Season 7 details and format

From Saturday, March 7, until Sunday March 15, PGL Wallachia Season 7 will take over the PGL Studio in Bucharest, Romania. With 12 directly-invited teams, based on previous PGL Wallachia performances, and four regional qualifiers, teams will first take part in a modified swiss-system group stage. What’s great about this format is all the best-of-three matches. The Swiss system means teams only play teams with the same win/loss record, and so we’re likely to have a lot of competitive matches. And there’s more potential for upsets.

The top eight teams from the group stage will advance to the playoffs, where it’s double elimination (lose twice and you’re out). All matches are best-of-three, except best-of-five finals.

Visa issues and stand-ins galore

As you might have noticed from the teams list, there were some issues with rosters and teams. In short, there’s been a lot of visa issues for teams and players from Russia.

  • Power Rangers, the Eastern Europe qualifier, struggled to get visas for its four Russian players and were forced to pull out and be replaced with Vici Gaming.
  • Tundra Esports will be playing without star carry Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko. Instead, they enlisted the help of David “Parker” Nicho Flores. Parker has been a somewhat controversial figure recently, after allegedly being removed from paiN gaming for being difficult to work with. Still, Tundra feels his talent will be enough to make up for Pure’s absence.
  • Team Falcons will play without mid laner Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak, instead recruiting super-sub Artem “lorenof” Melnyk to fill the void.
  • Team Yandex weren’t spared either, as Evgeniy “Noticed” Ignatenko will be replaced by inactive PARIVISION player Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin.
  • And last, but not least, Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko on Aurora Gaming also fell foul of the visa trap, and will be substituted for Alik “V-Tune” Vorobey for the tournament.

Overall, it’s four individual players and one whole team affected by the visa issues. For predictions, this alone is going to make things more difficult.

Players to watch during PGL Wallachia Season 7

  • Michael “miCKe” Vu is possibly the best carry in the world right now. After adjusting to new lane partner Erik “tOfu” Engel, he’s firing on all cylinders, and has appeared to reach a new level of mechanical skill and talent in the past few events.
  • With Pure sidelined by visa issues, all eyes are on Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov to continue Tundra’s winning ways. Of course he’ll have Neta “33” Shapira, the definition of an offlaner who can carry teams, in his corner. But Tundra will still have to find a way to compensate with Parker instead of Pure.
  • We have to imagine Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf is frustrated. In many ways the driving force behind Team Falcons’ victory at TI14, his Falcons have failed to soar in the early parts of 2026. But if there’s one person who’s willing to put the team on his back and win out, it’s ATF.
  • Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov could be the most underrated carry player in the tournament. The 18-year-old is one of the youngest in the scene and has the potential to dominate as he’s on one of the few EEU teams not affected by visa issues.

PGL Wallachia Season 7 Betting Tips

This PGL Wallachia is wide open for some upsets. Right from the opening clash between OG and Vici Gaming, there’s a chance a relatively untested team could surprise their more favored opponents.

Our big tip: Look for the stand-ins. Team Falcons without Malrine isn’t the same beast, and Tundra with no Pure could lack potency. BetBoom Team vs Team Liquid is one to keep an eye out for, because Team Liquid sometimes underperforms in group stages, while this is a make or break matchup for BetBoom.

As the rounds progress, continue to look for the stand-ins. It’s going to be the teams with more experience together that last in this highly competitive format.

For prop bets, we’d advise looking for reliable but predictable markers. First bloods and Kill counts can be great picks, and we’d always favor the more tactically sound team. For instance, Falcons scoring an early first blood on Team Nemesis seems very likely.
