Everyone has had T1 on their minds recently. The team has played at two back-to-back internationals, consolidating their name for good and bad reasons alike. Meanwhile, no one has seen KT do anything in the past month. Even the EWC that saw four Korean teams play including Dplus KIA rather than them.

Due to this, people favor T1 in this Telecom war, including bettors. However, going by the way they’ve played, this might not be the wise course of action.

T1’s whole plan is to put up “the circus” and drag the enemy team into it. Fighting nonstop and banking on the fact that they master this style better than their opponents keeps being their motto.

At MSI, though, their opponents exposed this. T1 doesn’t seem to be able to put up a clean game. As a result, they will throw games that should be theirs. At both internationals, European teams eliminated T1 off the back of a game that clearly should have been a stomp for South Korea.

On the other hand, KT has had time to recover from Rounds 1-2, to prepare for the upcoming split, and to learn how to adapt to the new bot lane picks. Regionally, they weren’t actually behind T1, they stood toe-to-toe with them. KT was a single win under the World champions, and it was Gen.G who eliminated them.

Obviously, KT Rolster is far from a clean team too. However, if they show a level anywhere close to the one they had in Round 1 while T1 is still at the last form that they showed, they will get their revenge for the World Final.
