Team Liquid vs Tundra Esports Team and Match Analysis

Team Liquid continue to look like the best team of 2026 so far. After lifting a trophy at BLAST Slam VI, the squad carried that momentum into DreamLeague Season 28, where they dominated all competition in the second group stage with a flawless 7-0 record.

Their star midlaner Nisha has been playing some exceptional Dota lately. However, the rest of the roster isn’t lagging too far behind and playing extremely solid. The entire team has looked very confident.

What’s particularly interesting is that in their last three matches, Liquid dropped the first map each time, only to bounce back and pull off the reverse sweeps. Liquid have built a reputation for playing well under pressure, and their resilience throughout these past matches are just further proof.

Taking Liquid on are Tundra, who haven’t looked too shabby themselves. The 33-led squad finished the second group stage with a respectable 5-2 record, with their losses being handed to them by Team Liquid and Aurora. Outside of these two hiccups, they were able to take down everyone else without much issue.

However, we’ll have to point a finger at the team’s mid-laner, bzm, who has looked quite inconsistent. He has delivered some great games throughout the second group stage, but there are some games where he clearly wasn’t feeling himself.

He was uncharacteristically missing simple combos on Invoker and had questionable item builds. If Tundra want to win this series against Team Liquid, their young gun will have to clear his mind and go back to playing at his usual level.

It’s also worth mentioning that these two teams played against each other just yesterday. Tundra won the first map after pulling off a comeback, but Liquid replied with two very dominant maps to take the series. In all three matches, Liquid had firm control over the game but let the first one slip.

Team Liquid vs Tundra Esports Team Betting Picks and Predictions

Yesterday, the Dota 2 betting odds between the two teams were close to even. But with that series series out of the way, Team Liquid enter the upper bracket final match as the favorites – and it’s hard to argue against that position.

There have been no flukes in Team Liquid’s incredible run at DreamLeague so far. Every individual is playing sharp, and their teamwork is clearly there. Meanwhile, Tundra have looked shaky at times, which doesn’t inspire much confidence for us to back them in this series.

Though Tundra is always capable of putting up a fight, or even taking the series, we have multiple reasons to point at Liquid coming out on top.
