We are just one day away from The International 2026 Grand Final and we already have one of the finalists.

TEAM VISION, one of the TI15 favorites according to Dota 2 odds, reached this stage of the tournament after a series of good results. Sadly, others were not so lucky, so let’s see what happened.

After dominating in the TI15 Group Stage, TEAM VISION has successfully reached the Grand Final. The Upper Bracket final between them and Team Yandex was the most interesting series of the tournament so far. It was a clash of the titans, a significant match for esports betting too, with three even games.

The series started with a victory for Vision, but the squad failed to win Game 2 after Yandex rolled out the sneaky Luna pick. Despite having the motivation on their side, Game 3 did not go so well for Yandex because the team had a slow start. This gave their opponents enough time to gain an advantage and Vision’s Timbersaw eventually became too strong to overcome.

Nigma & Team Liquid are Out of The International 2026

Sadly, Nigma Galaxy and Team Liquid had to wave goodbye to this year’s Aegis as both of them were eliminated. After defeating the reigning TI champion, Team Liquid had to face another champion – Team Spirit. We expected this to be a close match, but Spirit was on another level and delivered their knockout punch.

As for Nigma Galaxy, this was definitely the “Cinderella story” of TI15, but sadly, it came to an end. Following the impressive performance in the Group Stage, the team advanced to the TI15 playoffs, where everything crumbled.

After defeating Team Falcons, Nigma lost to Team Yandex and had to face another favorite – BoomBoys. To be fair, this series was much closer than we expected, but in the end, Nigma failed to win. BoomBoys had little to no problems in Games 1 and 3 and eliminated their opponents.

The last series for Nigma was very special because it seems like Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan will retire from professional Dota 2.

Surprisingly, BoomBoys are out of TI15 despite a very strong start to the tournament. The team ended up in the Lower Bracket, where they eliminated Nigma Galaxy, but failed to defeat Team Spirit. The clash was way more one-sided than people expected and it’s mainly because Spirit simply had a better draft. Sadly, the victory puts an end to BetBoom Team’s conquest for the Aegis.

So, what’s next?

Now that the second-last day at The International 2025 is over, we have three squads left – TEAM VISION, Team Yandex and Team Spirit. With this, Dota 2 prediction markets are also narrowing their markets. Which one will lift the Aegis? Stay tuned to learn more.
