BetBoom finish first at TI15 Day 1, but Falcons vs PARIVISION becomes the game to watch

The International 2026 Day 1 has wrapped up, with BetBoom finishing on two wins. The first day ended after we had the chance to watch many epic games from Rounds 1 and 2, so let’s analyze them.

BetBoom Team finished with two victories

If you have read our TI15 preview, you know that BetBoom Team is one of the big favorites to win TI15. They lived up to those expectations on the first day.

BetBoom Team started with an easy win versus OG, but after that, the squad had to face Iron Wing. This was an epic series where the third game was 70 minutes long, but in the end, BB Team proved why they are the favorites and won 2-1.

Team Liquid and Team Spirit defeated the Chinese powerhouses

The two Chinese powerhouses failed to impress their Dota 2 fans on the first day of the TI15 group stage.

Liquid defeated Vici Gaming following a hectic game one that lasted over 60 minutes. The game gave them enough motivation, as the second game was much easier for the WEU powerhouse.

In terms of Xtreme Gaming, the latter faced Team Spirit in the most anticipated series of the day. Both games were amazing and lasted around 50 minutes, which meant we had loads of comebacks.

XG was in the driving seat in the second game, but in the end, Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk and the rest secured a key victory.

PARIVISION vs Team Falcons stretches to over 90 minutes

The series between PARIVISION and Team Falcons was among the most anticipated matches, and for a good reason. Before this match, Team Falcons faced the South American powerhouse LGD Gaming and secured a victory.

PARIVISION, on the other hand, faced a tough challenge against Team Resilience, but they defeated the Chinese squad.

The PARIVISION vs Team Falcons clash was the hottest series of Day 1, and after two games, we watched a thrilling Game 3. It was over 90 minutes long and had buybacks, back-and-forth action, and loads of kills.

In the end, PARIVISION proved to be the more resilient team and snatched a crucial victory.
