Team Vitality beat NAVI PH to win back-to-back MWI titles at EWC 2026

Team Vitality went back-to-back to win the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Women’s Invitational (MWI) 2026 after an intense 4–2 grand final against Natus Vincere PH.

Team Vitality were the favorites coming into the tournament, and they didn’t disappoint. The grand final, though, was a close affair, reminiscent of the MWI 2024 grand final, where Team Vitality suffered a shock upset against Omega Empress.

In fact, Natus Vincere PH entered female MLBB esports by picking up the Omega Empress roster. Currently, it has two players from the MWI 2024 title-winning roster.

The series opened with the teams trading the first two games, with Natus Vincere PH winning the first. The third game, though, was one that showed Natus Vincere’s resilience.

From the beginning, Vitality built a slight gold lead and had better map control. They snowballed this lead to leave Natus Vincere PH with just one turret by minute 14. Despite being completely on the back foot, a defensive masterclass by the Filipino roster pushed the game past the 28-minute mark before Vitality were able to win it.

This resilience paid off, though, in the fourth game of the MWI grand final.

Team Vitality, playing on the blue side, opened the game with first blood. They capitalized on this to build a narrow gold lead, securing objectives across the map while pushing Natus Vincere PH’s lanes. By minute 10, they had secured three turrets and two Turtles.

Natus Vincere PH, however, held their ground to push the game late and only closed the gold lead just before the 16-minute mark. They pushed down Vitality’s lanes even further and led them in kills too (9–7).

From here, the tide of the match turned in Natus Vincere’s favor, and they closed the game out before the 19.5-minute mark.

With the series tied 2–2, Vitality put up a dominant showing in the final two games to deny Natus Vincere an upset opportunity.

With this win, Vitality have jumped to second in the EWC Club Championship 2026 rankings with 1,400 points, trailing Natus Vincere, who sit at 1,750 points. Vitality have joined Natus Vincere as the only two organizations currently eligible for the Club Championship title.
