Visa’s new MLBB deal brings ticket perks for the next three M World Championships

Moonton Games, the developer behind Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), announced today that it has entered into a three-year partnership with digital payment platform Visa for the M World Championships.

As a result, the M8, M9, and M10 World Championships will have Visa as the global payment partner.

The M Series is the year-end premium tournament for MLBB to crown a world champion. It is also the most-viewed esports tournament globally when considering peak viewership, per data from Esports Charts. The M7 hit a record 5.68 million peak viewers.

This is not the first time Visa is partnering with MLBB. In fact, the payment platform’s first MLBB tie-up came with the M7 World Championship last year, where it was also the payment partner.

The only difference this time is that Visa is the ‘global’ payment partner. This comes at a time when MOONTON is expanding MLBB esports to more markets. For the first time, the M8 will take place in Turkey, in 2027.

What does the Visa x MLBB partnership unlock for M Series fans?

As part of the partnership, Visa cardholders will get preferential access to M Series tickets. This could mean an early bird sale at a discounted rate, just like during the M7, where Visa cardholders could get 20 percent off tickets.

Besides this, other benefits include opportunities to win VIP Zone access, meet-and-greets, and behind-the-scenes tours.
