Although we CS2 aficionados want the good-looking knives like the Karambit Doppler, there are plenty of entry-level, cheap knives for those who don’t want to spend as much.

If you’re building a budget inventory in CS2, you’ll definitely want a knife. Here’s the cheapest one you can buy.

The cheapest knife in CS2 in 2025

As of the moment of this writing in December 2025, the Navaja Knife | Boreal Forest (Battle Scarred) is the cheapest knife you can buy in CS2.

You can find this knife for approximately $65 on the Steam Market. If you don’t like its look, the Navaja Knife | Forest DDPAT (Battle Scarred) and the Navaja Knife | Safari Mesh (Battle Scarred) cost approximately $66.

Best CS2 knives under $100

However, if you’re willing to spend a little more on a CS2 knife, there are plenty of great knives under $100.

Pay attention to the knife’s float

Before you buy a knife in CS2, check out its float. This is a number that ranges from 0.01 to 100 and indicates how new that knife is.

With these knives we mentioned throughout the article, you’ll want a float as low as possible. This way, the knife will be less worn and will contain just a few, if any, scratches.

Also, don’t worry about your knife getting older as time passes, because the float value never changes.
