BLAST and BetBoom announce partnership for 2026 and beyond.

BLAST has signed a multi-year partnership with BetBoom, the tournament organizer announced on December 9th. The agreement sees BetBoom become the licensed media rights holder and exclusive betting partner for local broadcasts in Brazil and Latin America of BLAST Premier and BLAST Slam events.

As the press release noted, both parties will collaborate to deliver “more events, content, and on-the-ground activations” in Brazil and LATAM. BLAST Premier and BLAST Slam, are the names of BLAST’s tournament series in CS2 and Dota 2, respectively.

The deal, which will start in 2026, sees BetBoom expand its footprint in LATAM and, most notably, Brazil. The betting company has long been fighting Omelete, the entertainment company behind streamer Alexandre “Gaules” Borba, to broadcast CS2 tournaments exclusively in Brazil.

Upon this partnership with BLAST, BetBoom saw Omelete secure the broadcast rights for the StarLadder Budapest Major. Gaules is the most popular CS2 creator in Brazil, and brings in thousands of viewers to every tournament. Last month, he helped Kick hit a new esports milestone during the Budapest Major.

With this agreement, Gaules won’t be able to broadcast any of the six BLAST Premier tournaments scheduled for 2026. BetBoom will likely broadcast the matches through Madhouse TV, which is owned by FURIA, as BetBoom already sponsors FURIA, and have Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo as its official brand ambassador.

Alexander Lewin, SVP Commercial for BLAST, and Stepan Dobrovolskiy, CEO at BetBoom LATAM, commented on the partnership between the two companies.

Alexander Lewin:

This landmark deal will bring BLAST tournaments and the BetBoom brand to even wider audiences across Brazil and LATAM. BetBoom, with its focus on top-quality entertainment, will deliver a fantastic product to this very passionate community. We look forward to working closely with them and investing further in bringing more events and activity to the region in the future.

Stepan Dobrovolskiy:

BetBoom is proud to partner with BLAST as the exclusive rights holder for Brazil and Latin America. This milestone allows us to bring BLAST to its largest audience ever, strengthening our esports ecosystem alongside FURIA, Fallen as our ambassador, and other best in class esports content creators. We’re excited to deliver world-class entertainment to an even wider Brazilian and LATAM audience, and to raise the bar for esports across the region.
