Jame, the IGL of PARIVISION, celebrate them making Stage 3 of the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025.

PARIVISION’s Cinderella run at the StarLadder Budapest Major will carry on as they’ve secured a spot in Stage 3 following a 2-0 win over Ninjas in Pyjamas on December 1st. This is already an extraordinary result for the Russian team, as Dzhami “Jame” Ali is their sole experienced player.

But, together with the assistance from head coach Dastan “dastan” Aqbaev, Jame led four rookies to the final Swiss group stage of the StarLadder Budapest Major. PARIVISION played a lot of tier-two and tier-three LANs to earn enough points in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) and qualify for the StarLadder Budapest Major in the first place, and they survived Stage 1 & 2 thus far.

In Stage 2 specifically, PARIVISION won three matches in a row after debuting with a loss to TYLOO. They’ve taken down Team Liquid and Aurora in best-of-ones and beat NIP by 2-0 to qualify for Stage 3.

Curiously, although PARIVISION lost two matches in Stage 1 and one in Stage 2, they’ve not lost a single BO3 series thus far. This goes to show that their map pool, tactics, and anti-stratting for the event are on point.

And, although Jame is the mastermind behind PARIVISION’s success at the StarLadder Budapest Major, he’s not one of their best players, according to individual statistics. At Stage 2, for example, Emil “nota” Moskvitin was the only player to put on a show in terms of individual impact.

The 18-year-old rifler averaged a 1.49 rating and 1.30 K/D in five maps played in Stage 2. If Stage 2 finalized today, nota would be the third-highest-rated player of this Swiss group stage.

Though it’s highly unlikely that PARIVISION will survive Stage 3 as well, given it features all the heavy hitters like FURIA, Vitality, Team Spirit, and Falcons, Jame is already proud of what they achieved at the StarLadder Budapest Major.

For me, it’s a dream come true. We’ve played a lot. We’ve been grinding for so many months. But a lot of things have happened to me. I went to a Major final [with AVANGAR]; who would have expected it? Outsiders — who would have expected it? This Stage 3….

PARIVISION will now have two entire days to rest and prepare for Stage 3, which kicks off on December 4th. Regardless of what happens there, Jame and dastan can celebrate already. They’ll most likely play in various tier-one events in 2026 after being let go by Virtus.pro upon joining PARIVISION.
