I’ve had a great time getting to know Jackbit better, and I’ve compiled everything I’ve learnt into a detailed Jackbit review.
A crypto first but fiat accepting gambling site, Jackbit has an impressive reputation built on solid foundations of strong sportsbook coverage, especially esports, excellent promotions and lightning fast payouts. Come with me as I show you what you can expect when you sign up, from games and payment methods to customer support and much much more.
Jackbit welcomes new players to their site with a welcome bonus that’s so easy to claim you’ll feel bad you didn’t get them anything: a 100% no risk first sports bet. This promo means that if your first wager is a loser, you’ll receive the entire amount of your wager back again as bet credits, up to a maximum limit of $100, or equivalent. As with all promos, this bonus comes with a few terms and conditions:
Jackbit is a global brand with a few notable restrictions so the bonus may look different in your home area. Have a look at my detailed bonus review for full details and to check out legal alternatives if you’re playing from a region where this type of gambling is restricted, such as the US (my Sleeper review will point you towards a an awesome DFS alternative if you call the States home).
Jackbit has a simple layout that’s been designed for maximum efficiency of navigation. It uses most crypto casino’s favoured colour palette of dark grey/ black background with white and bright green lettering thrown in. This contrast is great because it makes it easy to find things and means that the colourful games stand out, drawing your eye immediately like a well-stocked sweet shop ablaze with colour.
The Jackbit site is available in an assortment of languages to make sure that it’s accessible. This includes:
However, while there is an awful lot to like about this site, I do have to take points off my Jackbit rating because of the lack of information on the FAQ page. Usually, an FAQ section is a great resource for players and, from a platform’s perspective, means that there is less demand on their live chat support as simple queries about payments etc. can be addressed there. At Jackbit, it was somewhat limited and, going forward, this is something I’d like to see Jackbit improve.
The sign up process is straightforward and just requires you to enter a username, password and email and agree to the terms and conditions. That means you can be set up and betting all within a few minutes.
My review found that there is no dedicated Jackbit app available for download onto phones and tablets, as opposed to the N1 Bet app I discovered in my N1 Bet review. But, I didn’t find that the lack of an app impacted my enjoyment of the site at all. The simple layout translates very well to a mobile device and is quick loading and functional, with no lags even when I live streamed some of the sports.
While Jackbit may choose to develop an app in the future, it’s certainly not required to enjoy the site right now.
The next portion of my review considers the strength of the payment processes at Jackbit. Cryptocurrencies are the focus here but like many other crypto first gambling sites, as you’ll know if you had a glance at my BC Game review, Jackbit also appeals to non-crypto bettors by allowing you to buy crypto on the site and use a few fiat methods to make deposits.
Jackbit accepts close to 20 cryptocurrencies from the more prevalent varieties such as Bitcoin, Doge and Ethereum to lesser known coins such as Cardano, Monero and Solana. The main fiat methods accepted are Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards although other methods are available in specific regions.
Withdrawal requests are processed very quickly at Jackbit. The stated maximum time is one day however most payouts are processed in an hour or even instantly which is brilliant when you’re eagerly waiting for your bet winnings. Minimum deposit amounts vary according to the method you’re using.
Like many gambling sites, Jackbit sets caps on the amount you can withdraw in any seven day period, $25, 000 or its equivalent, and in a month, $50, 000 or equivalent.
There were a few areas in my Jackbit review where the site’s relative inexperience became apparent and customer support was one of them. As I’ve mentioned, the FAQ page is a bit sparse so might not be able to answer all of your questions. The terms and conditions page can be helpful though if you’re wondering how an offer works or which cryptocurrencies are accepted.
If you need help while you’re using Jackbit, the live chat is open for business 24 hours a day. This is brilliant for punters like me who like to burn the midnight oil while placing bets. Initially, you’ll be greeted by an AI bot, who’ll sort your query into a specific category so as to be better able to solve it. If this doesn’t help then you’ll be quickly directed to a support agent. When I tested this out, the agent responded quickly and was friendly but I would have like a more detailed response. Again, this Ian area I’d like to see Jackbit improve on in the future.
If you face a more complex query then you can use the support@jackbit.com email address but you won’t receive an immediate response.
All players should have security and safety front and centre in their minds when trying out a new online gaming site and it was a key consideration while I was completing my Jackbit review.
First up, Jackbit holds a license from the Curaçao Gaming Control Board. This is standard among crypto casinos and means that Jackbit has shown that they conform to strict standards of safety and fairness including the use of a Random Number Generator to determine the outcome of their games. That means Jackbit is legit and you don’t need to have any worries about playing there.
As well as holding a full license, Jackbit uses advanced SSL security measures to guarantee that player’s personal and financial information is protected.
Despite only being established in 2022, Jackbit have already built a strong reputation. They hold an ‘excellent’ rating on Trustpilot and have 78% 5-star reviews. Reassuringly, Jackbit also have several responsible gaming tools in place to let you set limits on your playing, take a break or exclude yourself.
For those looking to become Jackbit regulars, there’s a VIP Club to reward your playing. This is very much focussed around rakeback. Unlike cashback, which is only returned on the amount you lose, rakeback is based on the amount you play with. That means you’re receiving more money back and getting rewards when you win and when you lose.
There are various VIP tiers in the Jackbit programme, all delivering a different rate of rakeback:
Beyond the VIP Club, my Jackbit casino review found that there are a regular bevy of special promotions for both casino and sportsbook fans. One of the best of these for esports bettors was the 3+1 free bet promo.
This deal offers one free bet for every three that are placed and settled. Here’s how it works:
Jackbit covers around ten esports in their sportsbook. As I found in my eSportsbet.io review, there’s a dedicated esports tab so you’ll be able to go straight there to see the choice, which includes everything from LoL to Rocket League, StarCraft to Dota 2.
While this isn’t the biggest selection for esports you’ll ever find, it’s an impressive selection compared to many other online sportsbooks. The depth and breadth of the bet types is great too. There are simple outright winner bets as well as more complex bets such as map winners and over/ unders on total rounds.
Jackbit has a comprehensive coverage of esports tournaments from around the world. My Jackbit sportsbook review found that all types of challengers, cups, and leagues are covered, offering extensive betting choices to all types of esports fans. As an example of the variety of action available on any given day for one of the most popular esports, I found Counter-Strike tournaments including the European Pro League, the LCK Challengers, CCT Series and IEM Cologne.
This type of variety is repeated across each single esport on Jackbit so it’s great for those who favour one esport in particular or want to spread their bets across a number of different tournaments.
Competitive odds are the heart and soul of a good betting experience. Thankfully, the odds at Jackbit are more than able to hold their own against other sportsbooks, even some of the industry leaders.
Odds are shown in decimal format and update instantly as the games unfold. This is where the easy to use betting portion of the site comes into its own because it means you can make bets super quickly. As you know, the winners and losers in an esports match can change in seconds, so this facility to keep up with the action is essential.
Like regularly updated odds, the ability to make live bets is another essential for esports. Luckily Jackbit has a dedicated live section that tells you which events are being battled out right now so you can easily discover which teams are in play. Once you’ve found your team you can build your bet very easily with just a few clicks.
To make the experience of esports betting even better, there are live streams available for many matches.
Just look out for the little camera icon in the top left of games to see which ones are available. There’s no requirement to make a wager to watch these live streams, or even to be logged in. That’s another aspect of Jackbit which makes it a good choice for beginners.
While compiling this Jackbit review, I found that the esports betting was some of the best I’ve ever seen. While the choice of games isn’t quite as strong as at other sportsbooks, the choice of leagues and bet types is expansive.
The odds are very strong against the market and are updated instantly so you’ll always be right up close to the latest betting opportunities. Plus, the option to live stream many of the matches means that you can watch esports action for free and change your bets instantly.
I was a big fan of Jackbit’s simplicity – if you’re new to the world of sports betting and online gambling it’s an easy site to get to grips with. There are many standout features too, such as the welcome promotion of a risk free first bet. The VIP system, and its innovative points rakeback system, is also a unique feature that can add a lot to the gaming experience.
The variety of payment methods at Jackbit should mean that all punters are covered, and the speed of the payouts is fantastic whatever currency you’re using.
All in all Jackbit has a very strong base on which to build, with the potential to be a very very good platform indeed. A quick adjustment to customer support would be a good start, as would an expansion in their accepted non-crypto banking options. However, even now, Jackbit is an excellent platform and one that every esports bettor in particular should try out
