If you’re into app-based esports betting and generous welcome bonuses, I’ve a feeling you guys are gonna love N1 Bet – and my N1 Bet review is here to talk about why.
For those of you who haven’t heard, N1 Bet is an up-and-coming online sportsbook that offers competitive esports odds, fiat and crypto deposits, and even a Vegas-inspired casino subsite. Today, I’ll be taking a look solely at the brand’s esports offering, unpacking N1 Bet’s latest esports bonus, what the platform’s like to use, and what esports markets are available.
On my maiden voyage to N1 Bet’s homepage, the very first thing that caught my eye was the brand’s latest bonus. This is partly because it’s displayed in a massive banner ad at the top of the page, of course.
So, what’s the offer worth? Well, sign-up from an eligible region – which, I’m sad to say, excludes the UK and the USA right now – and you can qualify for a matched deposit bonus up to a maximum of $/€ 200 or your local currency equivalent. It appears the offer is playable on either sports or esports only, as there’s an entirely separate bonus advertised for casino customers.
I go into more detail in my N1 Bet bonus review. But basically, the key need-to-knows are as follows:
Once I’d figured out what was what with that bonus, I started clicking around N1 Bet’s website a bit to get my bearings – and I have to say, this is one very beautifully put-together platform.
When you first arrive here, you’ll be plonked front-and-center on the site’s regular sportsbook, which displays odds for football, tennis, MMA and the like. Click through to “esports” at the top, and that’s where the action really begins.
On the esports landing page, you’ll find a rotating banner ad displaying all the day’s freshest bonuses at the top, followed by competitive numbers on all the latest “Live” and “Upcoming” esports tournaments. Similarly to what I saw in the Sleeper review I published a couple of days back, there are one-click links to individual esport sub-pages listed neatly on the left-hand side of the page. These can be clearly found under the “Top eSports” heading.
Bets can be placed with just one click, though your betting slips here at N1 Bet are located in a slightly-awkward collapsable menu – you’ll need to tap on the “My Bets” button in the bottom right to make your slip visible. From there, it’s relatively easy to chop and change any previously clicked selections.
N1 Bet’s app situation is a bit of a weird one. I couldn’t locate any iOS or Android apps for the brand on the App Store or Google Play when carrying out direct searches, but when I started digging around on the company’s website, I soon realized that an N1 Bet app – which is both iOS and Android-friendly – can be downloaded directly from N1 Bet’s site via the very sensibly-titled “N1 Bet Mobile App” page.
Usability-wise, you’re essentially looking at a slimmed-down version of the regular site, which is equally easy-to-use. That said, if you’re one of these people who, like me, doesn’t really want to have to download yet another app onto your smartphone or tablet, you’re in luck – because I found that N1 Bet’s standard site also works pretty darn well on iOS and Android devices when accessed directly from your browser. I’ve been playing from my Samsung Galaxy Tab on Chrome for some time now, and it’s all been plain-sailing from day one.
If you fancy checking out the operator’s separate sportsbook or casino, you’ll find icons for these in the bottom toolbar, and also in the main burger menu – the latter of which contains pretty much everything you’ll ever need here. In all, N1 Bet is very neatly-designed package.
Not too long back, I published a BC.Game review that was pretty impressed to see that that operator supports both fiat and crypto deposits. It’s a rare feature, though one I’m happy to say you’ll also find here at N1 Bet.
On the brand’s very informative payments page, I found that those of us in permitted regions can deposit fiat via conventional credit or debit cards like VISA and MasterCard, or by a bunch of reputable e-wallets like PayPal, MuchBetter, Skrill, Interac and EcoPayz. Whichever option you choose, your deposit will go through instantly, and N1 Bet won’t charge any commissions at their end, either. Minimum deposit limits are fair, too, at a consistent $/€ 20 across the board.
If you’re more of a crypto bro (or sis), you’ll be happy to hear that Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, USDT and Bitcoin Cash are all supported, too, though your minimum limits are a bit more varied here – with a 0.0001 BTC minimum and a 1 DOG minimum enforced, for example.
N1 Bet withdrawals largely set the same minimums as deposits, and astonishingly, also all promise “instant processing times” and fee-free transactions. Having said that, if you’re using an ewallet, I’d definitely double-check your banking provider’s own fee structure first, as it’s pretty standard for folk like PayPal to tack-on charges at their end in some regions; particularly if you’re depositing/withdrawing using a different currency to the one held in your account.
If ever you have any queries or quandaries about your esports betting experiences with N1 Bet, I found that you can hit the “Support” icon in the bottom-left-hand-corner to bring up an interactive message window at any time.
From here, simply click “send us a message” to get yourself connected to… a chatbot, who’ll then hand you over to an actual human being once you’ve shared some basic info about your issue.
Much as I found in my recent Jackbit review, N1 Bet’s help service is pretty fast-acting; you can expect back-and-forth replies within just a few minutes once you’re actually put in touch with a real person.
If for whatever reason live chat doesn’t float your boat, though, there’s also the option to submit a contact form to the brand via the “N1 Bet Support” page 24/7, or to email the operator directly – though I did find the latter option could see you waiting around a fair few hours for a reply during peak times.
Although I’m focusing entirely on esports here rather than giving you guys an N1 Bet casino review or sportsbook write-up, I feel now’s a good time to tell you that whichever N1 Bet platform you’re using (i.e., esports, sports or casino), the customer support options are one and the same, and even accessed in the exact same way – either from the “N1 Bet Support” page, or the “Support” icon I mentioned earlier.
I’m sure you guys are getting the picture by now that yes, N1 Bet is legit – it’s a solid esports betting brand that offers round-the-clock customer support, reputable payment options and an easy-to-use all-round site and app.
Naturally, I found a fair few green flags to report on the reputation front, too. The brand’s owned and operated by Dama N.V., holds a recognised iGaming license, and is also closely-linked with organizations like Paysafe (for payment-processing) and Gambling Therapy (for responsible gaming).
Having said that, while the brand’s license will enable you to access the site legally if you’re living in, say, Australia, New Zealand, or Canada, other parts of the anglosphere – such as the UK and USA – are currently off-limits due to the fact the brand isn’t currently regulated by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) or Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).
It’s a bit of a bummer, I know, but on the upside, those of you living in N1 Bet-friendly countries can benefit from state-of-the-art SSL encryption, quick-links to reputable responsible gaming organizations, and of course all the site’s competitive esports tournament odds.
N1 Bet isn’t at all cagey about where you can and can’t bet from, either – geo-tracking software will automatically stop you from accessing the site if you’re visiting from an off-limits region, and there’s a full list of green and red-lit countries available on the brand’s T&Cs page.
I won’t beat around the bush. While N1 Bet is pretty darn good for esports lovers, their platform sometimes caters more toward sports and casino bettors, and this is most apparent when looking at the brand’s bonuses. It’s a shame I’m not writing an N1 Bet sportsbook review, really – as sports fans tend to get the lion’s share of the special offers here.
I found that while your 50% up to $/€ 200 welcome bonus appears to be esports-friendly, the same can’t be said for many of N1 Bet’s other bonuses. This is true of “Comboboosts”, for example, which offer odds boosts of up to 100%, but only on the likes of tennis, basketball and soccer, and “Weekly Cashback” bonuses, which offer personalized free bets, but strictly only playable on sports. Then there’s the N1 Bet VIP Cub program which, as far as I can see, is more geared toward N1 Bet casino customers.
On the upside, much like I found in my recent Sleeper review, there are a couple of esports-friendly bonuses that folk like you and I can take advantage of. These include:
Bonus offer | What you get |
---|---|
“First Deposit Bonus” | I’ve been through this one already, right? You can claim a free bet good for 50% up to $/€ 200 on your first qualifying deposit. As far as I can tell, this can be played on either esports or sports. |
“VIP Bets” | VIP Bets enable you to bet big when you’re feeling like a high-roller. With a single VIP Bet, you can wager anywhere up to $/€ 1,000,000 on sports, esports or other tournament-based events. Wow… |
I spied the above offers on N1 Bet’s promotions page, but if you’re feeling bonus-hungry, giving these guys a follow on your socials might be a good idea, too, as N1 Bet occasionally drops time-sensitive esports promo codes via X and Facebook.
Right off the bat, I can tell you guys there’s certainly no shortage of esports markets up-for-grabs here. N1 Bet offers more than 14 different individual markets in total, and while most of these are mainstream multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) games like Dota 2 and League of Legends, shooters like Counter-Strike 2 also make the cut, as do your more sporty kinds of esports, like ECricket and EFootball.
As I said earlier, you’ll run into next to no trouble navigating your way through all that’s on offer, either – as the site’s a real cinch to use (as is the N1 Bet app). On the main esports homepage, there are single-click buttons for all markets on the left-hand side. There’s also a handy search engine in the top toolbar if you’re in a rush to find what you need.
Despite the sports lean when it comes to things like bonuses, I was impressed to see that tournament-wise, N1 Bet shapes up pretty nicely for esports fans.
At the time of writing, there were competitive odds on the League of Legends LCK Summer tournament and HitPoint Masters. I also spied fair numbers on Starcraft 2’s World Team League and King of Glory’s King Growth League. Basically, if there’s an esports tournament happening somewhere, N1 Bet offers odds on it.
Yep. N1 Bet is legit pulling no punches in the odds department. I found that, pretty much across the board, you can expect competitive numbers on most mainstream esports, with live odds or specially-promoted, last-minute ones usually the most competitive – particularly on Dota 2 and CS events.
As standard, odds are displayed in European-style. But you can switch-up your formats in seconds from the site’s main burger menu – which’ll let you choose not just from European and American odds, but from Malay, Hong Kong or Indonesian-style, too.
Yep, of course you can. When you first hit-up the esports landing page, the hottest live esports odds are displayed under the “In Play” header, where you can bet in-real-time directly. Alternatively, there’s a dedicated “Live” dashboard – though here, in-play sports and esports odds are displayed alongside one another, which can get a bit confusing.
Games are categorized much in the same way as on the regular esports site, though you’ll have the opportunity to toggle on (and off) nifty features such as “Only with video” if you’re looking for markets that offer live streaming as well as betting.
I found that streams were generally crystal-clear, with minimal pixelation or lag, and that placing bets could be achieved via the very same pop-out “My Bets” tool I mentioned a little earlier on.
Serving-up a nicely-diversified selection of more than 14 different esports markets, competitive odds across the board and a platform that’s easy-to-use whether you’re playing from a conventional laptop or today’s latest iPhone, N1 Bet pretty much nails it.
I’d like to have seen maybe a few more esports-friendly bonuses up-for-grabs, but generally, you’re looking at a sound esports operator here, if I do say so myself.
Whether you want to enjoy cash bets on Counter-Strike 2 or a quick ECricket flutter fueled by Bitcoin, N1 Bet offers a well-balanced esports selection, competitive odds across the board and, of course, full support for both fiat and crypto deposits and withdrawals.
The platform’s easy-to-use on laptops, desktops and iOS and Android smartphones. It also serves-up a sound 50% up to $/€ 200 bonus on sign-up. Having said that, it is a bit of a shame that there aren’t many other esports bonus options up-for-grabs later down the line.
In all, then, N1 Bet is a well-put-together, properly licensed and properly good fun platform for esports fans. Here’s to hoping more bonuses are unveiled in the near future.
