The International 2026 has officially begun and Dota 2 fans have one question in mind – Who will win the most important competition of the year? Here is our take.

Winning TI15 won’t be easy

Every International is a joy to watch, and the 2026 version makes no exception. It is one of those Dota 2 tournaments where you can clearly see several distinctive favorites. While we have seen loads of upsets over the years, such as Newbee lifting the Aegis in 2014, TI15 will be one of the tournaments where a favorite will probably lift the Aegis.

But which teams should you pat more attention to? We know the full The International 2026 format and squads, so let’s find out.

The International 2026 favorites

If you’ve read our overview of the best Dota 2 regions at TI15, you’d know that Europe is on another level. Although everything is possible, this is one of the events where it looks like European teams will be at least a step above the rest.

Starting with Team Vision (PARIVISION), this is THE Dota 2 team to pay attention to at The International 2026. Thanks to names like Alan “Satanic” Gallymov, who is one of the top 5 players to watch at TI15, the Esports World Cup 2026 winners are big favorites. They come to this event following an impressive victory and fans have high hopes.

BetBoom Team (BoomBoys) are next on the list, and this should not be a surprise. The European giants come into TI15 after winning PGL Wallachia Season 8 and getting 2nd place at the EWC 2026. Considering their performance in the current patch, the BB Team will step up their game and try to secure their first-ever Aegis.

Team Yandex is another of the Dota 2 TI15 powerhouses that you should follow closely. In fact, Yandex actually secured the best results before The International 2026. Overall, the club won two Tier 1 events and got 2nd and 3rd at two more tournaments. The squad is an interesting mixture of young and experienced names that want to prove they’re the best.

The last The International 2026 favorites are Team Falcons, the reigning champions. 2026 has been rather slow for them, but they’ve proven countless times that people should not rule them out. No wonder they are the go-to option for Dota 2 bettors and fans who follow all tournaments closely.
