With its first appearance in 2017 and continued rollouts, fans are still abuzz over the League of Legends Bee skin line.

The Bee Universe from whence the skins come is an alternate, or future, universe in which all champions are dressed as bees, beekeepers, or are just actually bees. All LoL bee skins are classified as epic, meaning that they offer players significant design changes to their champion as well as new animations. As of November 2023, Riot has released twelve pollinating skins and several chroma options for 1,350 LP each.

For those looking to deliver an extra visual sting, here are their options in the League of Legends bee skin line.

Bee’Koz

“Controllable tentacles made out of honey? That’s bee-nius!” 

The giant Void-spawn Vel’Koz trades out its cosmic horror vibes for a much cuter aesthetic as a honeycomb. Still, don’t underestimate the power of a life form disintegration ray no matter what it comes from.

Bee’Maw

“Snowballing lane won’t bring back your precious honey!”

Bumblebees aren’t usually known for their caustic spittle, but who knows? When Kog’Maw is in the game, anything is possible.

Beekeeper Singed

“At first Singed wasn’t certain he wanted to be a master beekeeper. But the moment he put on the protective suit, he knew it was destiny. Nowadays he can be found tending his hives, eating honey, or flipping any hapless wanderers that stop to gaze upon his work.”

Singed is a beekeeper straight out of a horror movie – right down to the bee in place of his head. Maybe his mega adhesive has been honey all along.

Beemo

“To Beemo, or not to Beemo? That is the question.”

For Teemo, a toxic shot becomes a toxic sting as he bravely traverses Runeterra. Bees are well known for their adventurous spirit, after all.

Beezahar

“Open your true mind, and beelieve.”

Void swarm makes Malzahar a perfect fit for inclusion in the LoL bee skin line. He might even feel right at home in a unified hive.

Beezcrank

“Beezcrank has a reputation for getting his bee-infantry into sticky situations. Probably because of that giant honey-comb mech-arm.”

Fans know Blitzcrank as a tank, and Riot made that a priority in their bee visualization of him too. With a {honey stirrer} as a power fist, he’s sure to cause a buzz.

BZZZiggs

“According to all known laws of apiculture, bees shouldn’t be given explosives. Hey! Put that bouncing bomb down, bee!”

Notorious bomb-lover Ziggs has his hands full with both bees and explosives. Hopefully, the two don’t get mixed up.

Heimerstinger

“Now isn’t he just the buzziest little worker bee?” 

With one of the only names in the LoL bee skin line without the word “bee,” Heimerdinger brings his inventiveness to meet the industriousness of a hive. Who knows what he could get up to?

King Beegar

“Beegar’s waited a whole 10 days (that’s a long time in bee-years) for his moment to strike. It’s finally here, and the Queen Bee’s crown is in his sights. Long live the Bee-sistance!”

The master of dark sorcery, Veigar may have set his aim a little lower than it usually is in Runeterra. Still, it’s good to be king.

Nunu and Beelump

“They’re like two bees in a pod. Err… in a hive?”

Some may not have thought it was possible for Nunu and Willump to get even cuter. They were very wrong. Nunu and Beelump’s friendship is sweeter than any honey.

Orbeeanna

“Careful not to get honey caught in those gears!”

A little known fact is that the humming of Orianna’s gears has actually been bees this whole time. Shockwave? Bees. Dissonance? Bees.

Yuubee

“Hey… there’s a bee on you.”

What’s cuter than a magical cat named Yuumi that gets zoomie attacks? A magical cat named Yuumi that gets zoomie attacks and is dressed like a bee.
